JOJA is a family-owned Oahu smashburger pop-up established in January 2021. The menu is intentionally narrow: one Oklahoma-style truffle smashburger, with truffle fries or plain fries on the side.
The burger centers on double smash patties, onions cooked into the meat, American cheese, a special truffle sauce, and a brioche bun. JOJA's site says Unk is still on the grill making the burgers himself.
Their own site currently lists two regular markets: Saturday mornings at Kakaako Farmers Market and Monday evenings at Waikiki Makers Market at Waikiki Beach Walk.
