What to expect

The Taste of Korea in Honolulu is organized by International Youth Fellowship (IYF), a Christian-based global youth organization (IYF Educational Foundation, a California non-profit) focused on cultural exchange and youth development. The Honolulu edition is the third annual running of the event, part of IYF's broader series of Taste of Korea festivals held in cities across the United States.

The free, family-friendly outdoor festival takes place on the front lawn of Keʻelikōlani Middle School and centers on a K-Food Zone with authentic Korean street food including pork belly bowls, a Hanbok Experience for try-on photos in traditional Korean dress, cultural crafts, and traditional Korean games. Entry is free for the first 2,026 guests; food and select activities require tickets purchased on site.
