What to expect
The Mid-Autumn Festival, hosted annually by the nonprofit Chinatown 808 at the Chinatown Cultural Plaza in Honolulu, celebrates the autumn harvest and family reunion. The day-long event features lion and dragon dances, cultural performances, a harvest-moon altar with mooncakes and fruit, food and craft vendors, a lantern-making contest, and an evening lantern parade through Chinatown.
