Hawai'i Craftsmen Annual Statewide Exhibition 2026

Hosted by Hawai'i Craftsmen

Date

Friday, September 4, 202611 AM – 8 PM

What to expect

Hawai'i Craftsmen was founded in 1966 as a statewide nonprofit dedicated to celebrating fine craft in Hawaiʻi. Its Annual Statewide Exhibition has been held continuously since 1967, making the 2026 edition the 59th.

The exhibition is a juried showcase open to Hawaiʻi residents working in ceramics, fiber, wood, glass, metal, stone, and mixed media — painting and photography are not eligible unless they have strong three-dimensional qualities directly related to craft practice. A juror of national reputation is brought to the state each year to select work and lead a public gallery walkthrough. Accepted artists are recognized at a formal Award Ceremony on opening weekend, and the exhibition then travels to the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
