An annual community festival in Waimea (Kamuela) celebrating the blooming of the town's cherry trees alongside Japanese and multicultural heritage. The event features mochi pounding at Parker Ranch Center, more than 75 craft and artisan booths, bonsai displays, Japanese tea ceremonies, feather lei making, bon dance lessons, and cooking demonstrations, spread through town from the Parker Ranch Historic Homes to Church Row Park.
Food & vendors: Food vendors and booths on site; cooking demonstrations by area resort and restaurant chefs.
Parking & access: Free admission. Held at Church Row Park and other Waimea venues including Parker Ranch Center; Cherry Choo Choo children's train rides ($5).
